There are four practice tournaments that will be taking
place across the state.
Please not that these are NOT official Michigan FIRST LEGO
League events. These events do NOT meet
the official event requirement for grants.
These events are coordinated locally by the Tournament
Directors. Please direct any questions

West Michigan FLL Practice Tournament (non-qualifier)
Why: *Beneficial
for rookies and veterans
*Gain
experience before qualifying event
*Judges
& referees guide teams through what to expect
*Gives
teams motivation to complete tasks by early deadline
*Teams
are not expected to have everything complete*Will be run like a qualifier with
recognition and trophies

Monroe FLL Scrimmage

You may come completely prepared for competition, or you may
come with half-finished projects or programs. Either is fine, and we hope to
help your team prepare or just give your students some additional experience.
Each team will run their robot twice for referees and attend
three judging sessions. Each judge will give immediate feedback to the team,
and the referees will walk the students through the robot game process if
necessary. Each team will receive at least one award.
Cost: We are asking
teams to chip in $20 toward snacks and trophies if they are able.
Space is limited and teams must register in advance. Please
