Freescale Grant for Detroit FLL Teams (MI FLL Team Blast 2015.04)

There is a fabulous grant available ONLY to Detroit teams from FREESCALE. FIRST in Texas is administering this grant.

The award amounts are up to $1,000-$2,000 for an FLL team!

·         CURRENTLY THE WEBSITE SAYS YOU MUST PARTICIPATE IN AUSTIN, TX:  PLEASE IGNORE!!!!!

·         The grants will be made to teams on a rolling basis as long as the money holds out:

o    Sept 15 -first wave

o    Oct  15- second wave

o    Then later if there is still money available.

·         EVERY TEAM SHOULD FILL THIS OUT. There are no narratives, only demographics on your school, how many kids in the school qualify for free or reduced lunch, and the makeup of the team.  They want to support under resourced schools, and under represented groups (women and minorities).

·         So GET YOUR DEMOGRAPHICS on the school, and get this grant in before Sept 10.​
